2026 Association BIB Awards

Outstanding Membership Development Award

For excellent achievement in recruiting and maintaining participation in the association.

Innovations in Communication Award

For creative and innovative execution of a website rebranding or marketing campaign.

Inspired Event Award

For inspired and out-of-the-box ideas in event development.

Impact South Carolina Award

For outstanding achievement by an association and its members to implement a project or initiative that benefits the community or local charitable organization.

2026 Associate Awards

2026 Association Executive of the Year Award

The award recognizes the most outstanding association manager based on leadership, management, communications, and administrative skills exhibited on behalf of his or her association.

2026 Associate Member of the Year Award

This award is for SCSAE Associate Member who has demonstrated continuous involvement and support of SCSAE through his or her participation in activities and programs.

2026 Rising Star of the Year Award

The Rising Star Award recognizes an SCSAE member for professional achievement, specifically members who have been in association management or service provider for less than five years. Candidates must be nominated by a supervisor or colleague who is a SCSAE member. Judges will consider the individual’s employment history in association management, achievements, honors, and contributions.

2026 Lifetime Service Award

The Lifetime Service Award recognizes and honors individual(s) whom, through a lifetime of actions, have contributed to the advancement of Associations in SC. Anyone is eligible to be considered for this award. The recipient(s) must be: 1) Member or former member of SCSAE; 2) Residents of the State of South Carolina, work for an SC Association or National Association located in South Carolina.

2026 Outstanding Advocate of the Year* NEW THIS YEAR

The Outstanding Advocate Award recognizes an outstanding individual in governmental affairs team. Advocacy is the core mission for many associations, and we would like to recognize a member or staff leader who went above and beyond in grassroots lobbying, legislative testimony, or regulatory defense. This is not limited to a lobbying role.

Lifetime Service Award Nomination Information

Nominations can be made to the Board of Directors at any SCSAE meeting/event or by completing the form link below. Nominations should include biographical information and specific contributions to the Associations of South Carolina. The nomination letter must have the signature of at least one Board Members. Once completed, the letter can be emailed to [email protected]. The nomination letters must contain the signatures of two sponsors who are members of SCSAE in the State of South Carolina.
